The workshop will be hosted by the Colorado State University (CSU) and the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA); and co-sponsored by the Climate Prediction Center (CPC) of the National Centers for Environmental Prediction and the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). The AMS is a cooperating sponsor.

The workshop will address the status and prospects for advancing climate prediction, monitoring, diagnostics and more. It will feature daytime oral presentations, invited speakers, and panel discussions with an evening poster session event.
