NC Water Resources Research Institute's "Call for Abstracts" Deadline: Jan. 9
Jan. 9, 2013 — 4 p.m., abstract submission deadline. (Update: Based on popular demand, the Water Resources Research Institute has extended the abstract submission deadline).
The North Carolina Water Resources Research Institute invites you to submit an abstract for the 15th Annual Conference in conjunction with the NC Water Resources Association Annual Symposium. This year's symposium will focus on nutrient credit trading and will explore trading programs in other states as well as barriers and opportunities for such a program in NC. The conference will conclude with a dynamic set of speakers and panel discussion for the Progress Energy seminar entitled "Water, Energy, and Security: Colliding Imperatives", in partnership with the Triangle Institute for Security Studies. The Progress Energy seminar portion of the conference will be free and open to the public.
Submit Your Abstracts:
We are now accepting abstracts and welcome submissions on your work related to a suite of water related topics including water utility management, state law & policy, surface water protection, watershed management, and more. Abstracts are due Jan. 9, 2013 at 4 p.m. We especially encourage student submissions, and remember, student presenters attend the conference free of charge, and student posters are automatically entered into the student poster competition.
